US counterterrorism official, Joe Kent resigns over Iran war
National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent said he will resign over the Trump administration’s war against Iran. He said that pressure from Israel pushed the U.S. into the conflict, and that Iran "posed no imminent threat to our nation."
